Who we are

This website is operated by Vero Accounting Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company number 16931400), registered office: Bodfor, Esplanade, Penmaenmawr, LL34 6LY. We are the "data controller" for personal data collected through this website. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC072203.

You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@veroaccounting.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

Enquiries. When you contact us — through the contact form, by email, by phone or by WhatsApp — we receive the details you choose to give us: typically your name, email address, phone number and your message. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry and any follow-up conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

Booked calls. If you book an introductory call, the scheduling service collects your name, email address and chosen time so the appointment can be made and confirmed.

Website analytics. We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics that give us aggregate statistics (such as page views and approximate location at country/city level). This does not identify you and no advertising or tracking cookies are used — see our cookie policy.

Where your data goes

This website does not store your data itself. Contact-form submissions are delivered to our email inbox by a form-delivery service and then handled in our email system (Microsoft 365). We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers needed to deliver the services above, or where the law requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. If you become a client, your information is kept in line with our client engagement terms and our legal record-keeping obligations, which we explain when you join.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data or delete data we no longer need;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing of your data;
  • complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have handled your data badly — though we would welcome the chance to put things right first.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@veroaccounting.co.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
